Over 18 million cancer survivors in US by 2022: Report

Currently, America has over 13.7 million cancer survivors and the improving cancer survival rates have led to grater number of cancer survivors every year. According to the report, the cancer incidence rates have also gone down.

The report titled ‘Cancer Treatment and Survivorship Facts and Figures’ has been published in CA: A Cancer Journal for Clinicians and involved the National Cancer Institute (NCI). The reports highlights the challenges and opportunities to serve these survivors.
